Description
It all started with him. PIU 65 is a design by industrial designer Patrick Frey and architect Björn Götte and the first model in the summer house series. PIU 65 has 65 square meters of living space, 35 square meters of covered terrace area and two storage rooms. Inside there is a large living, dining and cooking area, as well as two bedrooms and a bathroom. We offer various variants for this layout. PIU 65 can serve as a holiday home for 2-6 people, as a small living, guest or work house. Large window fronts open the house in two directions. In the living room, a large sliding door in the eight-meter-long window front ensures a smooth transition from inside to outside. The terrace in front offers an uncomplicated seating area with its lowered step. On the covered terrace you can enjoy your coffee protected from rain and midday sun. The veranda visually and functionally connects the house with its surroundings and can be used as an additional room. Depending on the position of the sun, the transparent roof overhang projects an attractive play of shadows onto the larch wood facade. Two external storage rooms offer additional storage space. The floor plan with kitchen and bathroom in the center minimizes the usual hallway areas. This means that every square meter can be used, and the central living space with the window front becomes more spacious. The two rooms can be separated from the open living area by sliding doors. This allows the rooms and lines of sight to be designed flexibly. For PIU 65, the wall, floor and ceiling elements are delivered prefabricated to the construction site and assembled there in one day.
